The cord is handbraided in-house by bar3H Equine and pre-shrunk before finishing to help reduce stretching. The colour combination is the ready-made set shown in the photographs, with close-ups of the braid and fittings so you can see the finish before choosing.

Standard barrel reins are approximately 7 feet overall and can be adjusted down to around 4 feet with long tails. These are approximate measurements, so check the fit against your own riding set-up.

After riding, wipe away dust, let the cord dry naturally and inspect the braid, knots and fittings before the next ride.
