We are bar3H Equine. A family building a brand from the ground up, fueled by grit, passion, and a love for the western way of life.
Hi, I'm Amy, and alongside my husband Chris (Hodgie) and our daughter Indie, we are the heart and hands behind bar3H.
Our story didn't start in a boardroom. It started with a simple problem: Indie wanted horse tack for her pony that we just couldn't get here in Australia. So, we decided to make it ourselves. From our home in Quirindi, NSW, I started braiding, and Hodgie started working the leather. What began as a solution for our daughter quickly grew into something much more.
bar3H Equine became our passion. A place where we could create quality, affordable products that stand out in the arena.
But our journey, like any good rodeo ride, has had its share of rough moments. In the last couple of years, I've faced down serious health challenges—from stroke-like episodes that took the feeling from my left side, to breaking my back for the second time.
Through it all, two things remained constant: my family's support, and the unwavering spirit of the rodeo community. Those tough times didn't just test us; they forged our mission. They reminded us why we do what we do.

Today, bar3H Equine is more than just tack. It's a brand for everyone who shares our values. It's our promise to the community that got us through the toughest of times.
  • We are makers: Every piece of tack is braided by my hands, and every piece of leather is worked by Hodgie's. We pour our story of resilience into everything we create because we believe in quality that lasts.
  • We are riders: I designed the 3H Digital Planner because I needed a tool that could keep up with the chaos of a life lived between the stables and the arena. It’s for riders who need their tools to be as tough and vibrant as they are.
  • We are a family: We are building a community that supports everyone—from the nervous newbie (like I was just a few years ago!) to the families with generations of rodeo dust in their veins. We believe in cheering loud for each other, in and out of the arena.
